TELECOM ENGG. Co. was established in 1990 with the aim of development, manufacturing and marketing Communication Devices, Security Equipments, and Fire Alarm System. With Offices at Taj Mahal Hotel (Regent Plaza) Telecom was first company to develop and manufacture Car Security System in Pakistan. In 1993 the company was not only the big 1111gest manufacturer of this product but was the sole supplier of these car security systems to most of the vehicles insured in Pakistan by insurance company.

TELECOM ENGG. Co. offers one window customized services, ranging from in-house system designing, prototyping / model manufacturing, Lab Testing, Alpha Testing for Commercial production and promoting after sales services with the help of Computerized customer service data base. From 1990 to 1993 our Research and Development Department had, already, developed & manufactured plus marketed the following devices which were a spring of technology and fetched a huge market:

1- AQUA FLOW Automatic Pump Controllers
2- CSAS Car Security Alarm System
3- Call Logger Telephone Call Logging Reports
4- Nurse Call System Hospitals Patients Room Emergency

TELECOM ENGG. Co. in 1993 acquired 100% rights in M/s. GREY POWER, a leading Industrial Engineering Contracting Company with reputed clients. Since 1993 Telecom becomes an associate of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in their water pumping facilities, which are mostly equipped with Telecom Brand Devices.

In the year 1995 TELECOM ENGG. Co. was awarded the Sole Distribution in Pakistan of ADEMCO UK / USA (After Merger known as HoneyWell-USA) one of the biggest Fire Alarms and Security Equipments manufacturers of the world. Since the affiliation with ADEMCO we become one of the biggest Supplier, Installer and Service Provider of Fire Alarm & Security System in Pakistan. We are registered with all the major government departments and are a regular bidder in all Security and Fire Alarms tenders of Civil Aviation Authority, Ministry of Defence, Embassies, Banks, Hotels and Public Limited Companies. In 1998, TELECOM ENGG. Co. had been awarded the Best Distributors Award, 1998 by ADEMCO, INT'L, USA in it's Sales Growth in CASA BLANKA, MOROCO, 1998 Distribution's Seminars.

TELECOM ENGG. Co. has been established with the objectives to supply electronic security and general-purpose electronic devices maintaining highest achievable quality standards. The company aims to sell and market lab-tested devices to the local markets. Our scope of works covers systems Applications in Automation, Instrumentation, Controls Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), Access Control System and specialized Engineering Services. Working with diligent and time-to-time development within a period of 12 years we have achieved 70% of our targeted goals Currently. We are working with all the leading consultants of security and fire alarm systems of the country.

COMPANY'S CURRENT AFFAIRS:

TELECOM ENGG. Co. Market plans are very explicit & carefully calculated to cater current market need, with the security systems & products sold to the large customer base.Now a day, security being the most needed requirements of the multitude of residents & institutions. Currently, Telecom Engg. Co. is involved in import, processing & sales of XL - 2T security alarm systems of M/s. Honeywell - ADEMCO ASIA PACIFIC. Almost more than 800 units have been sold out & installed with in 6 months time period.

Rs. 2.5 Millions appx. Worth of security systems were supplied to the ADT Pakistan throughout authorized dealers network monthly. The Telecom Engg. Co. has been awarded "a proprietary contract" very important project of C. C. T. V. System installation at Quaid -e- Azam International Airport worth of Rs. 29 Millions, by Civil Aviation Authority. It is the largest C.C.T.V systems installations of the "SAARC" countries.

TELECOM ENGG. Co. is also in process of establishing its own "Security Monitoring Company" in Karachi. Part of the base station equipment & the end users Security Systems are, already, in Stock. An M.O.U. with one of the renowned Security Guards Company is under Signatures. TELECOM ENGG. Co. in future will not only monitor the Security emergencies but shall also be the service provider for medical, fire & industrial hazards.

TECHNICAL STAFF:

TELECOM ENGG. Co. There 18 experience Engineers in the technical force of Telecom Engg. Co. inclusive of field Technicians, Lab Technicians, Site Supervisors. Besides. It has an Admin Staff of 10 Professionals who are trained in Oracle 8i Data Base for office automation.

TELECOM ENGG. Co. is proud to cater, on regular basis, professional training to the students of N.E.D. University of Engineering & Technology, Govt. Polytechnic College for Women, Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Institute of Technology, IBA (Karachi University), Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan.
